Stake’s Parent Company Easygo Launches New Trading Platform Moon.com

Easygo, the company behind online gambling platform Stake, has launched a new trading platform called Moon.com, expanding the company's portfolio into leveraged financial markets.

Moon allows users to take positions on the price movements of assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Apple and Tesla. Rather than purchasing the underlying assets, users wager on whether their price will move up or down.

Moon's Product

Moon sits somewhere between leveraged trading and online gambling. Users do not buy or take ownership of the underlying asset. Instead, they select a market, choose whether they expect the price to move Up or Down, enter a wager and apply a leverage multiplier.

The Moon platform uses betting terminology throughout its product, while its help center describes the amount entered by the user as the maximum amount they are willing to risk. The platform then calculates a leveraged position and a Max Loss Price, at which the wager is automatically closed.

Leverage can reach 1,000x. At that level, a $100 wager can represent $100,000 in market exposure. A 0.1% move against the position is enough to lose the entire $100 wager, while the same move in the user's favor produces a $100 gross gain before applicable fees. Moon states that users cannot lose more than their original wager.

Moon also operates its markets around the clock. The platform says it aggregates pricing from DXFeed, Pyth Network and SEDA Protocol, allowing it to maintain pricing across supported assets outside the normal trading hours of traditional exchanges. For equities, Moon says its extended-hours pricing can incorporate data and calculations from SEDA alongside other market inputs.

Moon's Fee Structure

A 1% opening fee is charged on the wager itself, rather than the full leveraged exposure. Positions that remain open beyond the initial eight-hour period can incur a dynamic holding fee, with the rate determined by factors including market conditions, volatility, liquidity and funding costs. Profitable positions can also incur a performance fee of at least 10% of realized profits.

Moon also offers rakeback, returning 3.5% of fees paid to eligible users. Rakeback can be activated through participating affiliates or streamers, or once a user reaches the Bronze VIP level.

The Moon Rumors

In an X post, @lated1eyoung pointed to Moon.com and suggested that the platform could be connected to Stake's wider ecosystem because stake affiliates have been pushing the platform hard.

The connection has now been confirmed.

An Easygo listing for a Senior Product Designer – Moon, based in Melbourne, specifically identifies Moon as a product within Easygo and describes the position as working on the company's new platform.

The listing, which was posted roughly two weeks ago, provides a direct connection between Easygo and Moon.com. While the company has not yet publicly announced the platform, its recruitment activity showed that Moon was being developed within the Easygo organization.

Another expansion for Easygo

The launch gives Easygo another product operating outside its core casino business.

Easygo lists Stake among its primary products, which is the market leader in the crypto casino industry. The company also operates KICK and Stake Engine, giving it interests spanning gambling, gaming infrastructure and livestreaming.

Moon adds financial speculation to that portfolio, with a product that combines traditional market assets with mechanics familiar to online gambling.

The launch represents Easygo's latest move into an adjacent market, and potentially puts the company's gambling-focused product model into direct contact with the rapidly expanding market for retail leveraged trading.
