Duel Owner Ossi “Monarch” Ketola Wins $20 Million Against Patrik Antonius

Duel owner Ossi “Monarch” Ketola won $20 million from Patrik Antonius on September 11, defeating the Poker Hall of Famer in a heads-up match at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju, South Korea.

Both players bought in for $10 million, putting $20 million on the table. Ketola took the win, taking home the largest televised heads-up pot in history, with Antonius taking a record $10 million single-match loss.

The heads-up match followed another substantial win at the same tournament. Earlier in the week, Ketola finished a series of heads-up games against Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski, taking home $6 million.

A History of Multimillion-Dollar Heads-up Matches

Ossi Ketola is no stranger to the high roller poker scene. His past heads-up matches have made headlines with huge wins and losses that followed.

In August 2025 he faced Dan “Jungleman” Cates across six heads-up matches at the Onyx Super High Roller Series in Cyprus. Buy-ins started at €1 million each and eventually reached €6 million per player.

The following month, Ketola played another five-match series against Bjorn Li at Triton Jeju. Li won three of the first four contests, each carrying a $2 million buy-in per player. Ketola then won the larger final match, finishing their series with a $4 million profit.
